does the plumbing of the building really make a difference? i thought the point of an ro/di unit was to filter all of that bad stuff out. from what i remember from high school chemistry, when a compound is de-ionized it means that it is a straight up compound with no polarization, therefore no other "junk" can stick to it. if that statement is true, then the plumbing of the building shouldnt matter. anybody have any comments? correct me if im wrong cause i want to get an ro/di for my apt. but im not gonna get it if i have to worry about my plumbing.
