Just wondering where everyone else gets their LR. Do you buy it online and if so where?? What's its' quality?? Or do you have a good selection at a LFS?? Just wondering!! <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

there's about three saltwater stores around this area. i bought my lr from only two of them. won't say any names but one of the lfs down here does not have any good lr. in fact most of it really sucks.

i have one both and regret neither, just look for shipping when figuring price, online can be much cheaper, but some(very few) places online cna be even more brutal with shipping figured in, the cost online even with shipping can be much less
but buying locally has its advantages too, you can hand pick your pieces for size and shape, if you order online, then definitely ask about this(we got ours one time and i had a box of fist sized and smaller pieces, no prob for me, but bigger in many instances is nice), however most lfs rock is not gonna have as much if any coraline(but it will grow back), some say it does not have as much life, but we got our best selection of life from lfs rock(now we also got much more rock this way too, so it may be evenly proportionate as well)
HTH and good luck

But he's local to me. Excellent quality though - I've had some VERY strange hitchhikers from his rock!

I bought from Gulf view... online & am happy. But you might want to try ordering online from a place on teh west coast since delivery will be quicker for you and die off might be less.

i have heard many good things about our host, swf.com too, their prices are definitely not bad at all, 50 lbs is 200$ shipping included

Ocean Treasures here in town. He has got some really good rock!!! Covered in coraline and macro algea. And at Proggressive Marine. Both are great lfs.
