I have too 528 gph powerheads and a 300 gph powerhead... I was wondering where sohuld I p[laces these in my tank?
Where should I place my powerheads??? PLEASE HELP

tie a small peice of bright yarn around a small rock or two, place the powerheads anywhere you like. Use the rocks as a gauge for flow, it should flow in all parts of the tank but not flapp in the wind. Just try different set ups and use the rocks in several different spots so you can see how the flow translates inside the tank.

i have two
one maybe 5 inches from the top, in the corner of the tnank blowing the opposite way, the other is a little lower and is on the opposite side of the tank blowing the opposite way

Just place them in opposite ends, and put your hand in there, and try to find a dead spot. when you find one, try to get rid of it without losing anywere else. keep playing around and youll get it.

I have them on the same side, one makes waves from attachment, the other is lower and aimed at the surface creating a circular motion. You can tell by watching your food movement or bubbles.
