I have searched within a 50 mile radius and everyone trys to sell me a frickin media bag as a filter sock!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I guess SWF doesn't sell them? If you don't have any luck my LRS sells some just like the one in the pic. They are $14something plus tax and I could send it to you for a few dollars I think. I have bought 3 for myself in the last couple months. If you don't find anything I could even pick a few up for you and drop them into a priority box next time I am at the LRS. I think the priority boxes ship for $8.95? Not too sure. USPS just had a rate increase Monday. Course you would have to pay for everything.

OK, I see what you mean. I was thinking of the ring type. I haven't seen any of the ringless ones. I suppose you could get a ringed type, cut off the ring and secure the sock with a rubber band.
