Where to buy acrylic?

Does anyone know the best place to buy this. I'm thinking about building a refuge with a glass aquarium and want it to build the baffles. Home Depot or Lowes, maybe? Also, what's the best way to cut it? Will a jig saw work? Thanks!

have you tried your local glass shop? mine charges about 12.00 each baffle, that way you don't have to buy a whole bunch of tools/supplies just a thought tobin :happyfish

SO FUNNY!!! I just posted the same question about 1 1/2 weeks ago because I was doing the exact same thing. I found it at Home Depot. I used a table saw to cut it, it was really easy that way. Good luck building it, it was actually fun. I just got done doing mine and I am in the process of cycling the refuge porrtion. If you need any pointers let me know.

Do you think a skill saw wood work? Do you just use the same blade as if you were cutting wood?

pics? if you have them and can you cycle it at the same time if your cycling your tank too.

Pictures, yeah, I can't post them now but I will. I did post a couple, let me see is I can find the forum. But anyway....I think cycling your refugium during the same time as your DT is the best way. I did it with my DT already est. and have to cycle the refuge all over again before circulating it into the DT. So before you add fish or anything that is the best way. Let me see if I can find the forum I posted my pics under.
