I'm looking to buy an overflow, and would like your suggestions on a good place to buy one. In a previous post, someone suggested an Amiracle overflow, but I went to their website and didn't see one.
Thanks
marine depot has cpr overflows they look good but i have never used one. I use a old style overflow with a U tube. I call it old faithful it never fails even when the power is off for hours.
I allways say if it works dont fix it the old U type overflows work flawlessly IMO

Wagirl. I do have a u-tube overflow, but I'm only asking 50 bucks for it. And as stated, these perform very well. I never had to re-prime it after water changes, power loss, etc. Shoot me an e-mail if you're interested. KDLBEM@msn.com.

go with a Life Reef overflow, they are simply the best. Stay away from the CPR unless you don't mind hooking up a PH to it so it keeps it's siphon. Lifereef.com is the site and they are the best and the most reliable HOB overflows.
I've got twin LifeReef slime line overflows on order....supposed to ship on the 10th...they are rated at 700 GPH each. When I was looking for quality overflows the vast majority of responses refered me to LifeReef...and after speaking to them on the phone and via e-mail I've got to say Jeff is a good man to work with...very helpful and knowledgeable...and he simply cares about the products he makes as well as the hobby. As soon as I get mine hooked up and running I'll let ya'all know if they are as good as I hope they are.
I have used several CPR overflows in the past. I absolutely loved mine. I didn't mind having a PH sucking the air bubbles out. I have drilled most of my tanks now so I don't use an external overflow box, but I would recommend the CPR to anyone. They are extremely quiet and flow lots of water. Excellent craftsmanship.
