Never heard of sutch a thing...Personally,I wouldn't trust a matchine to do such a simple task....Some things are best left to us....I guess if you really wantsd to play with this idea, you could set up a couple of pumps/powerheads on timers. One to pump out for a few minutes(5-10) them another to refill the tank with a float valve to shut it off when the tank is full....

It would be very easy to construct using lawn/golf course sprinkler timers. I know quite a few people who have set-ups like this to do water changes automatically in their whole fish rooms where one tank over flows into another. The problem would be how to add salt to the freshwater coming in from your pipes or if you wanted to use R/O water.
You could have a trash can or other container filled with your salt water and judt run a pump on a timer until the container got empty that would allow you to know judt how much water you were putting in. Then just have an overflow somewhere that would drain out the same amount of water you were putting in. You would have to add more water than you normally would because you would be mixing the new water with the old and some of the "new water" would go over the overflow as well.
