Okay.
Where would one locate a feather duster?
Would it like a strong current, a weak current or no current??

That's a Fraggle!

Fraggle: The feather duster shouldn't be placed in your tank at all, since according to your other thread you just put a bunch of stinky uncured rock in your tank.

The Rock I get is from a LFS that cures their stuff before it goes into their 'for sale' tank.
The other store is apparently ending their saltwater section! So they sould have some good bargains soon. However, I tested their water from a bag I got soem turbo snails in..... It had really high Nitrate. But not 'dangerouse'.
I moved the duster half way down the tank so its getting a medium current from the filter.
Now to get something to feed it! LOL

When you put in a feather duster, do you just drop it in and let it go where it wants or do you "glue" it someplace, or do you stick it between 2 rocks?

i have one feather duster which is a colored feather and it is smaller so it just chills on the bottom...but then i have two larger feather dusters which i have propped betweed some rocks...the feather dusters from my lfs have cc stuck to the bottom half inch or inch so they sit very well....i have mine in fairly high flow areas and then seem to be doing alright....

I placed my feather duster in a piece of branch rock that I put in a middle flow area of my tank. At first I just dropped it in and was hoping it would plant it's foot and so on, but this never happened. My larger Clarkii clown kept dragging it around my aquarium till I was able to stick it in this branch piece of rock.

Put it where you want it. Then just let it move if it wants.
If it moves, then its safe to say it wasnt happy with where you put it in the first place.
