i have found several small starfish, 3clams and lots of bristle worms. also a nudibranch but i have not seen him in a long time. i also have this growing on my rock but i dont know what it is. its really small so hard to get a good pic. there are two of these trying to grow on the same rock. anybody know what this is? look right in the center of pic, it is red and kinda star shaped.
I also see a couple of these on my rock!

my first hitchhikers came out the 1st day and night. Some others have slowly popped up over the weeks.
I have to admit I've seen most of my hitchhikers at night. I'm sure you will find some! Just keep an eye out

haha awesome with the night vision. Do you have moonlights? I use a flashlight if I think I spotted something unusual. This star for instance I caught red handed in the middle of the night.

Okay to become a real reefer and to see things unknown to you get a magnifying glass. Then sit and stare at the rocks for hours like we all do you will be amazed at the little things you will find.
Here are some examples of things I have found"
Pseudocorynactis

Sun Coral

Symbiotic Starfish on a Gorgonian, about the diameter of a pencil eraser.

There is life in there, you can find it!!!!

My live rock did come with a lot of hitch hikers, but like whisk says if you look at night with a flashlight it helps at first. I use one that has the red cap to go over the light and that helped out a lot.
