I have a TP clown and I was wanting to get a anemone for him.. I wanted to ask first before I bought one because I would prob get the wrong kind. My 29 gallon tank has been up for 5 months now. The water is perfect I got it checked at my local fish store and I am prob gonna get it checked today.

bubble tip, condy, sabae, lta maybe more, they might host them they might not, some clowns may not host anything and some will host anything too.

Assuming your tank is old enough and your lighting is adequate then a BTA would be your best bet. They're a lot easier than others.

Hi Sweetie,
I agree with the others as a BTA being one of teh best choices even though its not a "natural host" for percula clowns.
Natural hosts are Heteractis crispa; H. magnifica; Stichodactyla gigantea..
H.mag, and S.gigantea are 2 of the most difficult anemones to keep alive. The crispa isnt so bad, but much more difficult than a BTA. Even though teh BTA isnt a natural host, it can work. I have raised a whole lot of tank raised percs and have seen 1000's of them accept a BTA within short time.
