which firefish

I am getting a firefish tomorow and couldn't decide on which color to get. What do you guys think-regular or purple.

Its totally up to you. I think it sort of depends on the colors of fish you have right now. If you have some sort of red/orange clown I would go with a purple but if you have like a royal gamma or purple sphudochromis I would go with the red one.
P.S. There's also a different kind of firefish. It's yellowish and white and runs for about 200 dollars where I saw it. Pretty cool.

Well its pretty tough for me. I have 2 clowns, a royal gramma, and i am getting a flame angel and a purple tang. I have alot of purple and orange.

hehe hmmmmm I say whichever one looks healthier and has more personality and is less shy. I'm also going to get one I think I'm gunna go for the purple.

buy a helficri firefish, they are the coolest!
i had a purple firefish i think they are more active and get bigger but i m going to buy a regular ff for my new tank, i want to see different fish

You can't put two types together can you?
Can you have more than one purple firefish?

I have had success with putting a pair of red (regular) firefish in the same tank.

I just got a regular one. I would have gotten a couple but they only had 1 regular. I will post a pic when i can get one. Right now hes not swimming around too much. Do you think i can 1 or 2 more later like in a couple weeks.
