hi, I have a 75 gallon with 40 lbs of live rock,4o lbs reef bones and the following fish so far:
3 green chromis,one firefish,2 small clowns,one dottyback and a yellow wrasse.
not sure, but would like a few corals later unless they restrict fish choices too much.
what are some really colorful unique fish you would add to this tank?
sure like triggers, lions, puffers, cow fish etc etc but apparently these don`t go well in my setup

I kind of wish I had started with larger fish as mine are all kind of small.

no sailfin or purple tangs in a 75! sail fins need a 125 min. and purples need like a 100 min. Blue tangs cant be kept in a tank thatv small either your only options are a yellow tang or a kole tang.

no sailfin, no blue regal. mandarins need 100 pounds of rock a piece and a mature tank to support enough pods to feed them.

i agree... but in my 75 i have a blue hippo and a sailfin, along w/ a pair of percs... they all swim togther, love each other, bla bla..... water is perfect....... so untill i see signs of aggression or poor water quality there they stay....
and there is plenty of swimming room in this tank... you can have a 200 gallon tank, but if you have too much LR and other garbage in there, then the fish isn't swimming too much either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and of course if they/ when the get to be 9+ plus (if) they will be taken out for the other tank, or traded for smaller tangs(i like the smaller ones anyway!)

i'm just saying that, IMO, he/she shouldn't add a fish to his/her tank that will eventually be unsuitable. there are plenty of cool fish out there that he/she can have that can have a permanant home in that tank. sailfins and blue hippo tangs are never a good idea in 75 gal tanks. mandarins should never be introduced to a fairly new tank without at least 100 lbs of rock and a good pod population.
