Which foods and water treatments do you use?

I use mostly Kent suppliments (Esentail elements , Phytoplex,Iodine,Stronium. Two little fishes Kalkwasser and there Zoplan plankton. I use Ocean Nutrition food 2 type Brine &mmeat base / and there formula 2 algea base.I also do Brine & mysis shimp frozen and seaweed sheets . I really dont add much as with regular water changes all remain pretty perfect most I have frgom when I began and come to find out you really can do with out as long as you do water change with a good salt I use Coral Life salt.I aminly just do teh coral foods & fish foods. I do corals 3 times a week & feed the fish every other day. You will notice if you do regular water changes your perameters will remain in line and it alos will save you money.I think alot of the additives are over rated and not nessary.

the kind of food you feed depends on the kind of fish you are keeping I use omega one marine flakes and frozen brine or mysis shrimp for my smaller fish my puffer and fuzzy dwarf lion fish get tetra jumbo shrimp. I feed before i go to work in the morning. I feed my aggressive tank again when i get home. also have spectrum grow by newlife. every few days i squirt some phytoplankton into my reef tank. used to put coralvital in there too
and some combo vital.

I feed my fish formula 1 and formula 2 every other day. The only additive I put in my tank is Kalkwasser, I top off nightly with it. IMO, most additives are a complete waste of money and are not necessary. The key is to use quality salt and do bi weekly water changes. Remember, always test before adding anything.

i stopped putting the coralvital in after the second bottle went empty and the and the combo vital when it ran out. I dont use them anymore but my reef has been running for a year and a half used that stuff when i first started out. Probably the lfs just trying to get the most out of me. I add the phytoplankton cause of the diversity of corals in my tank.

JMICK, I thought that Kalk had to be dripped in slowly but if I understand your post right, you add daily in your top off water. Is this correct?
