which lighting is better for chaeto growth in fuge

i was looking at two coralife fixtures one is 2 -9watt 6700k lights and the other is 1 -9 watt 10,000k and 1 - 9watt actinic 03 which would be better for growing the chaeto

Plants grow best under a bulb that is in the 6500K range. This is a more yellow bulb, but has a spectrum more like natural sunlight.

hey.. i was wondering if those screw on florecent bulbs grow good... i looked at them but they done have the 'k' rating.. it would be nice if they grow good cheato cuzz of the wattege it uses..
 
yeah i looked at those also as far as if they are good i havent used them maybe someone can reply on that but the k ratings on the 3 i found are
6500k
6700k
1/2 10,000k 1/2 actinic 03

They make some screw in fluorescents that will work... Lights of America makes a 65w 6500k bulb that works great... but you need their fixture to run it. Home depot sells them for around 40$, fixture and all. I have also seen 15w screw in fluorescents at Wal-Mart that would work.

You can also find the LOA fixture at Costco for less then 10.00...depending on where you live the LOA fixture at HD can cost as little as 20.00
