Putting in my order tonight for equipment. tank is going to be FOwLR some inverts like crabs, etc but no corals. 75 gallon with 4 NO tubes.
People here have suggested 2 blue actinic bulbs and 2 full spectrum. Im confused by all the different types of full spectrums, which should i get? What are all these 10000k 20000k etc...

I vote URI bulbs all the way. I think a pair of SuperActinic and a pair of AquaSuns. They have the internal reflector and are very high quality bulbs. If you have a really good reflector you could save a few bucks by using GE UltraDaylight (Home Depot) in place of the AquaSuns.

I'd like to know too. What the advantage is to 10,000 or 20,000 is. Can someone explain? I want to replace mine this month. I use the GE UltraDaylight's now. I think they are making my algea get out of hand. I have been told by several people that it is because of the GE UltraDaylight's. They say they don't put out near the spectrum they claim
