Which of these protein skimmers?

Ive narrowed it to a few, based on my budget. Which of the following would be the best choice for my 90 reef.
BERLIN classic hang-on
RED SEA PRISM PRO
(not the regular prism)
AC Remora with Maxi-Jet 1200
Precision Marine HOT-1
Excalibur Hang on Skimmer [New Model]
Or any other suggestion around the same price range.

Azonic,
I'm curious.....you have a pretty large bio load on your tank, according to your sig. Are you running a skimmer now? If not, does everything look healthy? If so, you don't need a super efficient skimmer. IMO, you can actually strip your water too much. It seems like the trend is to more of a natural system, and in nature there is quite a lot of organics. Seems like people only think that if a skimmer is pulling a quart of crap out a day that it is a good skimmer. That's how high dollar skimmers get sold. I'll probably get reamed for saying this, but its just my opinion.
I have had good luck with a Red Sea Berlin for the last 4 years. A rio 2500 is powering it. If I overload my tank with food or additives, yep I get a lot of crap in my collection cup of my skimmer......just like the expensive ones.
Its all in the balance in YOUR TANK, not someone elses.

tcreef: I couldn't agree more. I'm leaning towards the cheaper of the options I listed. Most likely the precision marine, remora, or berlin. I do not use a skimmer, everything in my tank is doing fine but like you said I do have a large bioload...I'm pretty well maxed out as far as fish go so I kinda want it as insurance I guess. I think I'd feel better if I saw a cup of crap a week that got hauled out of the tank.
I'm not about to spend several hundred dollars on a euroreef or a myreef.
Has anyone here had experience with the precision marine hot-1?

I use a regular Prizm. As long as I keep the intake tube clean I never have to adjust it. It was 1/2 as much as anything else I could find and seems to remove alot of very nasty junk from the water. I have had it running for six months solid and no issues so far. HTH

The Remora is too small for your tank. I use the RemoraPro for my tank and I could even use more skimming. However, with a reef system, I don't want to overskim.

Beth: Do you think the Remora Pro would be good on my tank? That's the one I'm leaning towards now...it's rated for my tank size but my load is high. I've read good reviews about it...any comments?
