Which of these setups would be better for my needs?

I have a 90gal. (48x18x24) I can't afford MH and won't be able to for a long time. I know they are the best but i want to upgrade my lighting to either a 8x54w T5 hood or a 4x96w PC hood with lunar lights. The PC is about $100 more ($430). I plan on keeping some anenomes, don't know names but one's that would be a good host for clowns, and a few medium light corals (nothing too exotic). Will the T5 be adequate for my needs or should i def. dish out the extra money for the PC? Don't really want to but I will save up the loot if they're that much better. From my understanding, they're both probably extremely similiar though. Please help with this headache!
Oh yeah, everyone keeps telling me that a MH set up is about the same cost as both of these, but i don't know where in the hell they've see these deals cuz they're defin. not on that E sight. Show me one and i'd defin. get it, but i still want some opinions on the question above.
Thanks- Mike

If not mh.
How bout 2 260w coralife fixtures.
That would bring it up to 520w pc.
Either 2 fixtures or 2 retro kits.
The retrokits are cheaper.
Coralifes have good resale value also.
The famous auction site has retro kits for 150 each plus shipping.
Look under aqualight
Just look for the logo and name coralife.

Ok just did a search.
They have some MH retrofit kits for 200-300 with no bulbs.
Not sure how dependable they are though.

Well I can tell you if you can afford $430 for PC lights then you should go to that all mighty famouse auction site. You can get 48inch MH lights like 2X250 with moon lights for $400 plus shipping.

And sort by highest price first
MH would be near the highest price.
