which one is better for corals 14k 20k or 22k

Wow, 10 minutes!
The way I understand it, 14k will give you better growth, but 20k is also good and gives a bluer color(which alot of people seem to like)
The big question is: how many watts and how big and deep is your tank?

You should be good either way then. If you are going with frags and would like them to grow quicker, then get a 14k. I like the Ushio 14k.
If you are would rather have the coral colors "pop", then go with a 20k. (maybe a radium)
It's really a matter of preference, IMO.

radium bulbs only look right with correct ballasts. but as you mentioned its a 70w, so they dont even have radium bulbs for your wattage

Kelvin is the color of the light you see not the light the corals need to grow. Photosynthetically active radiation, PAR in nanometers is the light wavelength that will tell you, your answer.

Just because the light you see with your eyes is blueish or whitish does not mean the light is very useful for corals to grow...

in general, lower kelvin bulbs has a broader spectrum of usable wavelengths for corals for growth
