Which one's better?

distilled as spring water may have minerals added or be a mixture of sources from a variety of springs ....

I say distilled would be much better, spring doesn't give any clue to its processing. Distilled would be better as long as no metals were used in its processing.
Have you looked at your local Meijer or Walmart for an RO vending machine?
Also check the paper under water stores like Culligan or others.
Your LFS might also sell it, just ask.
