which salt to use?

Instant Ocean or Red Sea?
I currently have both, because I found an awesome deal for Red Sea salt. Enough to make 200 gallons per container for $24.95 on sale. Normally $59.95 per container and this was at a fish store.

I've never noticed a difference between salt brands, but use Instant Ocean just because it was the first brand I ever used (I'm a sucker to marketers!)

You will never get a straight response to this question. I think it is pretty much just a matter of opinion. Both salt mixes are capable of housing marine life...I really don't think there is much of a difference between the two.

They are about the same. Most people will pick whichever there use to getting.

Yep - Salt choice is another personal preference.
