for PC's 2x96 watt or 4x65watt *havent decided which one yet*
MH- Havent really researched yet, but its for a 55 gallon tank which only has a 36" opening for light to go through
VHO- 380watt
t-5= couldnt tell how many bulbs i actually need to get coverage or enough power for LPS.

i tried asking that in the equipment forum but no answer. i just worded differently on this thread to see if anyone knew it here.
Also, would 2 96xwatt work in a 55 gallon tank? i want to keep LPS;frogspawns, bubble coral etc. it a 4 foot tank but as the problem is the opening. stated above.
its 18" high but technically, 15" with the sandbed

To calculate your monthly cost:
Watts per lamp x Number of lamps x Operating hours each day x 30 (average days each month) / 1000 x Cost per kilowatt hour (I pay around 7.5 cents; you probably pay considerably more)
Hope this helps.

Your tank is set up to work well with a set of MH pendants. 175 watts each should do the trick. If you plan on getting a bigger tank some day go with 250 watts each.

My guess would be VHO or MH, The power they consume is just part of the factor if its warm where you live. The heat they produce is the other, causing your a/c bill to rise and possibly with MH you may have to run a chiller. I have been very happy with my PCs in that depertment.

i decided not to get a MH set up, its too costly for me plus i dont have AC, its hard to find an AC in a house where i live. I dont want to spend the money on a chiller, it would get too hot in my house if i had a MH set up.
would 2 96 watt work on my tnak? also, what part of a PC is most intense? is it the end?
thanks guys for the help
