Which skimmer

I was looking at the Bubble King skimmers. $1200!!!!! For the cheapest one!?!?!?! Thats rediculous. I will either get a Deltec or an ASM.
EDIT: Deltecs are too much, so I am going with the ASM. Now, If I got a 180 or larger, and got a shark and ray... would I need bigger than the G3?

Get what you can afford. Believe with allot of so called named products you are paying more for the name then anything else!

I hate to tell this Quad, but I bought the catalina 1200 from LFS. It lasted less than 1 week. Took it back and second one lasted a day. Called catalina direct and they said bring it by and they replace it. Since I live 30miles away I asked them to mail it to me. To my surprise, they mailed me two. Well three days later I knew why. Both pumps failed.
I guess I know why they answer SURPLUS WHEN YOU CALL THEM.

Well I guess I will have to learn this one the hard way because I asked several sites about them and could not get any reply but thank you for yours and hopefully I wont have the same prob but If I do what would be a better pump?
