Which substrate?

Unsure of which substrate to use on a 20g long reef. Would the SeaFlor grain be too big and/or bad substrate for sifting fish or snails?

Well if you aren't going to have anything sand sifting i would probably go with at least a substrate that is 1.0-2.0mm in size. I went with the Caribsea aragonite which is also considered "sugar sized" (.2-1.0mm) and any little current that goes accross the bottom of my tank blows sand up on my rocks and carry's it everywhere. it makes a big mess, but I have algae issues if i dont have any current on the bottom because all kinds of uneaten food etc, settles down there.
Good luck setting up your tank.

if its a 20 long your probably not setting up a DSB in the tank (imagine 6 inches of sand in a 20 long LOL) so I would go with the larger grain because its easier to keep aerobic and fine enough for a multitude of creatures.
