Which tank do you like the best?

Hard to choose…they each have a quality about them I would love to have…1st is awesome because you can walk all around it and see the reef. The down side is that it has to be in a room off to itself. A true little chunk of the ocean…
The 2nd has it as a whole wall…that means you can have it in any room as a focal point, sit down and enjoy it all day if you like.
I went with the 2nd …I would get more enjoyment out of it as a wall in a room that I could utilize, than off in a room somewhere by itself that I would just visit.

Im gonna have to go with #1, I liked the setup and the fact I could walk around to see everything and it wasnt all in front of me at once

It's kind of hard to compare the two. I can't ignore the fact number one looks like it's in a basement. The environment is unappealing and it carries over to the tank.

Number one is my winner because there are so many places to look and it has a variety of coral and anemones. The second one seemed to be cluttered with sps. (when you looked at it from far back it looked beatiful but all the coral looked the same) Still had a cool variety of fish though.

#1 i think is better. I like the ideas of individual coral mountains and the fact that you can walk around the whole tank. Even though number one has a lot of real nice fish, more of a variety would have been better. #2 looks too cluttered.

I voted for #1 but it's really a tough choice. I like the fact that you can walk around it and see the tank from different angles and. The whole island is really attractive as well and being powered by vortechs makes a big difference.
#2 also looks really nice since you have a whole wall to work with and make any point a focus point. The way the tank looks is pretty appealing, but personally I wouldn't have that many fish in there it looks like a cluttered highway at rush hour. Not as cluttered corals would have been a better idea. But again, that's just how I would do it

Given the choice to have one for free, then I would take either of them

I prefer tank 1, but I would have it in a better location than as the other person said .. basement.
The second tank had way too much going on for me - too many fish and too much of the same coral.
I wish there were details about the 2nd tank like there were for the 1st

i liked tank 1 better... it seems that the tank is well balanced with a good amount of different corals, fish, and inverts. plus it just looks nicer and more spread out than tank 2 which squeezes most of the fish to the front.

I love the first tank. I asked back when it got posted the reply was
" The tank alone was ~$8K, the entire setup is about $30K and climbing with additions of rare and show quality livestock "
and it was an upgrade from a smaller tank.
The second one was a wall with corals and fish.IMO
