However you do it . . . i dont think that it really matters. For one thing, PC do not come in a true actinic, but rather a blue light bulb. But it comes cloes to serving its purpose. Choose what you like best for starters, and if at all possible do the best you can to balance out the white and blue. Equal numbers are a good goal.

you can get true 03 actinic PC bulbs from several on line vendors. I currently use 2 X 55 10,000k and 2 X 55 03 bulbs in my tank and really like the color they produce.
Go with the 10,000k daylight and look for a true 03 actinic bulb as the 7100 blues are just blue bulbs and your corals will not flouress (sp?) at all. If yo cannot find them send me an emial and I will direct you to a good vendor.

I doubt that is a true actinic bulb since they always advertise when it is. when they say actinic blue bulb it's usually just a blue painted bulb.
What style 55w bulb does your system take:
German style square pin (4 pins all together in a square)
or
Panasonic style (4 pins in a line)
Email me and I will give you a vendor website to go to so you can purchase true 03 actinic bulbs

aye all the true actinic bulbs say actinic 03 on them. i run a pair on my 29, and it took me a while to find them. the only real difference is the phosphors that they put in the bulb, but contrary to popular belief, they do exist... just not common.
the closest non actinic i have vound is the coralife smart lamp, which is a bit more purple than an 03, but does give awesome flourescence, moreso than my vho actinic 03 did.
