Ok everyone, I bought a pair of Misbar Clowns form my LFS about a month ago and placed them in a QT. My intentions are to hopefully breed them, so they will not be going into my DT.
Yesterday I noticed some white blotches on them, they don't seem to look like ich, they are more blotchy, almost raised and cauliflower like as opposed to tiny white spots like ich. I have never seen Ich on clowns before, only on tangs and it doesn't seem to look the same. One has spots on the tail and around the eye, the other on the tail and on his mouth. I will attach some pictures that I took.
I added a carpet anemone about a week ago from my display tank which they are loving, they started hosting right away. I'm not sure if this makes any kind of difference? Also since last night I checked the water parmeters and they are all perfect and I will also be doing a water change today for them as well. Also I have started feeding them brine soaked in Zoe and fresh garlic, just to get things started before I figure out how to treat what ever this is.
Any response would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
