bump. the lfs has one that is very small and i'm wondering how it would do with other fish. My book says it isn't good with shrimp, but i don't have any other than a pistol shrimp that doesn't come out from under the rocks, burrowing sand everywhere.
How big do they get? will they eat other fish?

they are very aggrissive and will proboly kill everything in your tank and get HUGE beyond what most people have an aquarium to keep them in there is more information on the sticky on what not to keep in the aquarium but in case you do have a big tank they get to about 20-24 inches so a tank thats at least 30 inchs wide would be best probly a 225 wide or somthing along the lines on 72x30x24 ect

IMHO, these are great looking fish when they are that small, but just look awkard as they get bigger. I saw one about 10" long, and it just didn't have the same appeal as those I have seen 3 - 4 inches big...
