white bump?

I just bought a green leopard wrasse last night and as i was going for bed i noticed a white bump on him.The bump looks exactly like a pimple only white and is located on his gill,any idea what this might be?thnx for any help.

lol if i can find him i might be able to...put him in tank last night havent even seen a fin.

He is most likely in your sand/gravel bed. Wrasses are known to do that. Don't mess up the sand looking for him. This will only stress him out.

if this bump is some sort of infection is it possible he will die in the sand or will he come out?

He will come out. Just give him time.
