These are some type of snail(forgot the name). They are stationany for the most part and are also a sign of a maturing tank. I find these guys to do no harm at all, i must have hundreds on my L/R and glass. HTH

I believe those curly things are described on page 3 of the section on rock and tank equipment hitchikers. You might find some other interesting things described. HTH!
They're Tube worms - they will make your tank look very cycled. I suggest you leave them on the back of the tank and remove them everywhere else. That way they don't disrupt your view but show the tank's progress.
