white dots on tank walls

Have had tank only a month (got water and sand from well established tank) I have around 15 or so lbs LR. I just added an emerald crab, and a bubble tip anenome attached to LR on thursday. Besides my bubble tip still not real happy, all looked fine at 230 this am. I get up at 9 and everybody looks great (go bubble tip!) but there are these white dots on the tank walls, i can see probably 75 or so which means there are prob hundreds. I have not had ich in my tank, but im guessing thats what this has to be. I have looked all over my false percs, and they have no dots. After reading Beth's post on Ich, i'm thinking I have ich in the tomont stage? Can ich come from a crab? Trying to take a pic, but not coming close to useful.
temp 79
salinity 1.020 (a little low i see...fixing that after I post)
pH: 8.0
ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
nitrate: 20

Ick, IMO, you are generally going to see on the fish.
Copepods, spirorbid worms and other "dots on the glass" do not appear on fish. Small white ant like critters- really tiny- on the glass that are moving are generally copepods. White dots that are hard and stationary are spirorbid worms...these may need to be scraped off...but neither are a disease :D

Well, you can see copepods, but the white stuff is likely not that. Ich, you can not see with the

eye. The only time ich is "somewhat" visible is when they are attached to fish, and then what you actually see is the protective cysts they encase themselves in.
