White film

I am wanting to sell 2 55 gallon aquariums that I have but they have a white film on the inside of the glass. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this that's not toxic?

I use vinegar and or hydrogen peroxide to clean and disinfect my aquarium stuff. You could also try a razor if it's a glass aquarium.

do u let the vinegar set?

+1 white vinegar. Get the big jug of it and dump half in each tank. I usually let it sit over night or so...

what size jug? the biggest ive seen is a gallon?

That should be all you need and some good old fashion elbow grease

ok so the vinegar isn't working.. any other ideas?

Those white deposits are precipitated calcium salts. They should dissolve in acid (vinegar is a weak acid), or you can try "Magi-Klean" which is pretty good, but you will have to be sure to rinse the tanks extensively after you use it.
