white fuzzy tube-like growth on liverock

does anyone know what i'm talking about? i see these little (no more than 1/4") white, fuzzy, tube-like things all over my liverock and i'm worried they're not supposed to be there. are these safe or not?

Do they have kind of a little pineapple shape, with a small "crown?" Sounds like Q-tip sponges to me. Harmless and kinda cool imho.
