white pod looking things...

When I changed my filter pad, I noticed some white pod looking things on the pad. Yesterday, I did a what change, moved one of my powerheads to clean behind it, and low and behold, there were some there too. They're white, and look like itty, bitty, worms. As small as pods.
any ideas......

i was freakin out last week thinking i had ich in my tank cause i had teeny tiny white dots (look like pods but it would take a LOT of them to be as big as a grain of sand) movin around on my tank walls. turns out i have copepods. dunno if this is what you have or not. they are a good thing tho!!!

The white things don't move. They're like encrusted white spots on the walls. And they're hard. Not easily taken off of the tank walls.

i got them too... had them forever... IMO they dont think the y hirt anything
