Just found new white spots on my glass only. These are very small. About the size of a grain of sand inside of what looks like a clear bubble. My tank is newely established and all parameters are good. Recently added LTA and 2 clowns on friday. NOW I GOT SPOTS. Only about 30 or so in tank now. Any help would be greatly apprecieated.

Do you have any snails in your tank? I too have the same spots and I have yet to find a real answer on what they are. If I find out before you do I will let you know!!!!

Do you have live rock in the tank? Do the spots move? If so, they might just be conepods, wich are beneficial. Thats all I can think of, but I am no expert.

I too noticed these spots recently, I upgraded from a 46, to a 110. used all the liverock, and water from the 46, but used new sand substrate. the spots are small, salt grain sized, and when you look closely they seem to have tiny feathery tentacles. there are alot of them, when i mag float them off the gass, they come back by the next day. wondering if anyone knows if they are a pest, or good for the tank, and if they are a pest, what might eat them. Thanks all.
