white squiggly thing

This may sound weird to some or it may not, but occasionally on the back of our tank we get these white squiggly things. I'll try to attach a picture so people can see what I'm talking. Can someone tell me what that is??

Is it on the inside or outside? Somtimes people get dried salt reisde on the outside of there tanks.

Looks like snail eggs to me. Do you have snails?

Their was a pic posted awhile back that looked like that and the reply was that they were snail eggs.

thanks to all that responded....those eggs are quite creepy and very bizarre to show up all of a sudden...
