White stripe along side of my yellow tang in AM.

Hey guys,
I've noticed that my yellow tang has a white stripe that runs along is body in the morning only... in fact, the stripe disappears within an hour or so, and only re-appears in the morning when the lights come on..
Is this something I should be concerned about?

That stripe is normal. Fish tend to fade in color during the night so that they are not noticable to predators. The white stripe is a result of this "fading."

ya my chromis does that all the time, but spotted

Yeah. That's normal. Mine does that too. You should see how bad they look at night. I did this with a flashlight and thought he wouldn't make it till morning.lol
