white stuff floating in tank..please help me

I have small white dot looking things all through my tank and everything is dying any ideas?

my first thought is copepods but they wouldn't hurt anything. When was the last time you tested your water?

Post a pic if you can, but sounds like ich. White things on fish or in water..we need more info.

today...ph is 8.4 nitrite is 0 nitrate is 20 amonia is .5

Hmmmmm I'm not sure. Do you have any pics? Is your tank overstocked? Do you have an aggressive fish that could be beating his tankmates to death? Did an anemone die lately? If you don't have a pic more details would be helpful.

could it be chemical warfare from corals?
