White stuff on Chaeto

Okay I got some Chaeto for my fuge, and on it there are about 100 little white "shells." They are hard circlular things about the size of a large grain of sand. They dont move so I dont think they are any type of pod. Just wanted to know what anyone thinks they might be? I'll try and get a pic but my fuge is hard to get pictures of because of its size (tiny) and shape (tall, narrow). Ill do my best to illustrate below.
This line is a single strand of the chaeto,
/////////*////*///./
The dots would be the white stuff, it seems "attached" to the chaeto.
Any input?

Probably spiribiod (sp) worms, harmless filter feeder, and to be expected, the white is its calcium shell, look on the large end and you might just see its feathery net extended to feed with.
