white stuff on lr

any idea what this could be? i just realized it today white stuff forming on a few of the lr. could be be some sort of sponge? i will post a pic if u guys wanna see it.

Here is one of mine, does sound like a sponge. I have some white ones and one that is blue...... Warren

Have you tried touching it? If not try touching it. Then tell us how it feels when you touch it.

Does it look like the ones I showed? If it does they are just harmless filter feeders.
