White Worms??????

I have a few of them squiqqling around in my reef only tank.... they are about 1" long and are white... could they be baby feather dusters????? or what!!!!!!

no i don't think it's feather dusters i think they start with there hard shell first.I could be some other worms.

Do the worms build sand- stone tubes at their base? I have these worms as well, they are not feather dusters. They have been in my tank for over 2 years, and do not appear to harm anything. i find them interesting to watch. They add another point of interest to my tank. Have fun!

Vadnium, I think the ones you are describing are tube worms. They are good because the tubes they leave behind aid in circulation of the substrate. This aids in the production of bacteria. STEVE
