Whitish bumps and lumpy belly

Hi, just noticed two whitish spots on my blue tang. One above the eye and one on the other side close to it's tail. Look like pimples. (on the black part) Also it's tummy is lumpy. Only had it since about the 3rd of May, it was thin and it's definitely gaining weight. Looks good now, eats real well and is super active. but is the lumpiness O.K? What about the small bumps?
Crud!
Thanks

Try to get some pictures and post on the disease forum. Beth is great at identifying this kind of thing.

Hi Wendy,
Tangs tend to have "lumpy" bellies because they actually eat grains of sand to help them digest vegetable matter, much like some birds eat gravel to help them digest seeds.

Hey, thanks, never knew that. I have noticed as I feed it less the less lumpy (and large) it's belly got. Trying desperately to get enough food to green goby but this little tang is quite a pig! At first I thought it was O,K cuz it was too thin when I got it, but know I think it's getting stressed from overeating. Any ideas on how to get the goby more food without compromising the tangs health. (like overfeeding!) Tried putting large net in to separate during feeding but then the goby didn't come out at all. ( it's quite shy)
So appreciate your input.
Wendy
