No he was a BTA that very rarely B'ed, lol...
Sometimes he was huge, sometimes he was only about 8 inches across. YOu can see there is nothing around him.

Ive had one for a while now that was sold to me as a hatian bubbletipped anemone, I'm convinced otherwise that it is not in the BTA family.

I would have to agree seeing as though there is no such animal called a Haitian Bubble tip Anemone.
You either have a Haitian Anemone , AKA Condylactis sp an Atlantic anemone or you have a BTA Entacmaea Quadricolor, typically from Indo Pacific.

i have a green rock Anemone that is very pretty. Cheap, it doesnt move at all and isnt aggresive or has the sting strength of others..thats why i got it.
this is an older pic..it actually has a nicer green to it now

we had a green bta for almost a year in our reef tank with no problems. recently had to sell it because it got so huge! we still have a sebae that we got about 6 months ago. have never had problems with anemones in reef tanks. the only anemones that i believe to be a bit dangerous in reefs would be carpet anemones, but then only *slightly* more than other anemones. we have 2 cleaner shrimps and they were not shy to hang about on the underside of the bta when the flow raised up the side of the anemone. brave guys but they are still around!
