i here that you can not put more than one in a tank. i just dont know about that i have a 55 gal with several. I have a bicolor, a coral beauty, a juvenile emperor, an a lemonpeel, along with several other fish . a have an orbiculate batfish, a few damsels, a few blennies, a few gobies, a few butterflies, along with a spinny urchin, a scallop, starfish etc. Everyone seems to get a long fine. but dont take my word for it because i got this group from trial after trial i went from fresh water to salt water not noing a thing about it i have lost just as many fish tring to get my water right all the way to fish that do not get along i have only been into salt for about 3 years but i now have this tank a 20 gal with an octopus, another 55 with a snowflake eel, a volitan lion, a porcupine puffer, and a coral cat with some anemones and a little coral, and this group should not get along eather but they are doing fine. i am starting up a 150 next week dont know what i am going to put in it yet. sorry that i have gone on for a long time but i am also wondering will these fish always get along just like you are.

not to hijack the thread, but friedclamsam, why don't you put some of the fish from your 55's that are one probably too crowded already and two will outgrow them. Such as the emperor which even as a juvi should (imho) have at least 100 gal unless very tiny and the orbiculate which grows very large height wise. And as far as the coral cat which i hope is a newborn seeing as it's in a 55, needs more like 355. I really hate to flame people but did you do any research?

Ok I hate to flame, but man, I'd sell all your fish and restart and do some research. Look here to find out more about your shark https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/277463/thinking-of-a-small-shark-or-ray which shouldn't be in that small of tank or with a puffer.
Your octo I hope is a dwarf octo otherwise shouldn't be in a 20g if it is a Bimac or Twin Spotted Octopus which are the most common.
You 55g's are way overstocked.
Good luck getting the fish in a happy healthy home.
(Whether that means upgrading, doing some research, and reconsidering your stock lists).

I have a Blueface and an Emperor. I had a french in the tank with them as well but took her out cause she was the first to eat my coral. I wish I had kept her cause they were great together.
Here is a picture of the angels below.

Fried - you are setting yourself up for a HUGE letdown. First of all, angels need a lot of space. Thats why people say you cannot have more than one in a tank. If you have a 180 (minimum) you can have 2. These guys get BIG. You are overloaded right now and in less than a year you will be at critical mass. Your 150 will have a tough time handling your fish stock as it is now.
My QT is 55 gallons and ill tell you with 6 fish in there when they were sick, they were all over each other. Imagine all of yours. My bio-load on the the 180 was a ton when I had my puffer as well.
My suggestion would be to take the big fish (angels) and put them in the 150 and leave all the others in the 55.

I do.
Take a look at some on this thread.
https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/287196/new-to-forum-my-225-gallon-tank
I have had as many as 13 Angels in this tank at one time.
Sold the rest off as they grew and to help fund the Clarion.
Little bickering here and there but not bad overall.
I think I proved it is all in how you go about it.
Smaller first, then go up in size.
If you are adding similar angels, add more than one.
Move things around to confuse the established ones.
Place the new ones in a plastic jar with holes in it for a couple of days so the others get use to him there.
My large Emperor would have gone nuts on a Chrysirus I added but by also throwing in a French and a juvenile Emperor, all was fine as he had too many to pick on.
I managed to grow the juvenile emperor to adult with the 15" bad boy in there.
They got along fine.
Would have still had them had I not been made such a nice offer for him.

About the price of a car.

Haven't seen any available but then again, haven't been looking for them or too involved in the hobby since turning the business over to the son three years ago.
Wholesale, he cost me $1,100. I hear he retails for about $5,000.
Got him as a juvi, about 2 inches.
In three years, he is about 6 now.
