Who has started putting up their Chrismas lights?

That looks really cool aqua. We don't go all out like that here. My husband limits my decorating. lol A few spider webs some window decorations and a few headstones in the garden. That's it....If it were up to me I'd probably spend most of my money on decorating and the rest on the fish tanks.

You need a hobby. Obviously saltwater doesn't consume enough of your time.
Almost all of my time is consumed. I am in school full time with a full load of homework, I work part time, I have saltwater to take care of and now I am putting up Christmas lights. I don't think I have room for anymore hobbies.

But if you put X-mas decorations up now, where would all of the Halloween stuff go!?!?

Great looking display!! I only have the lights up on the house so far. The deer and Santa's sled will go up on the roof after Halloween along with all of the Christmas trees and other decorations.

There sure is if you put up 25,000 lights. If I waited until after Thanksgiving, I would still be putting them up after New Years.
The lights are UP not ON.

Better you than me buddy. To bad you don't live closer, I'd love to see your lights.

Wow...that was an amazing cake. I bet it tasted really good too. I know who I'm calling to fly down and make my cake when my hubby and I renew our vows.

Nice house AquaKnight! Is that in Celebration?
As far as lights go. I will not put my lights up until after Thanksgiving. It is just wrong in my book! I have lights up now for Halloween and I put up St. Patrick's lights after Valentine's day.
I do put up a lot of lights, not 25000, but maybe 1500!

It has been almost a month since I started this thread. NOW has anyone started their lights? I am ALMOST done with mine. I have about another 4,000 lights to get up. Here are some pics of two of my trees. Does anyone else have their tree up?

I have officially finished my lights! The final count is 29,725 lights and no blown fuses! haha.
Who else is done? Does anyone have pictures?

Bump for Eagle!
Here are a couple of shots of my parents place. A good bit of the lights didn't survive the move. The tree on the far right could use a lot more reds and they need to finish the other porch columns. Apparently not to many decorate in the area, as they've been saying everyone who drives by stops and stares for a bit.
