I have watched NASCAR in quite a while, but I have to go along with you. I like Dale Jr. also. I like Big E when he was alive and it was a sad day when he died.
There seems to be too many punks in the sport these days. The one I absolutely hate is Tony Stewart. He is like a childish little kid. WHAH WHAH!

I got interested in NASCAR when CART and the IRL split after the '95 season. Bobby Labonte is my favorite driver, but for the past two or three years now have gotten less and less interested in NASCAR.
All of the focus on sponsorship has really dulled the sport down;I don't see the series as much more than 43 talking head, corporate puppets that drive around for three hours on a Sunday afternoon. So for the past few years, the IRL and NHRA are the series that have held my interest.

I agree, but then I hear people say the same thing about motorcycle races which I enjoy watching.

Yeah we all have our views about sports....I don't like nascar either....
But do any of you watch Formula 1...they are a lot more high tech and faster and just better....

They go about 0-60 and back to 0 in less than 3 sec.
Nascar is just around a circle......

Got to go with the new kid on the block in the #9 Dodge car, Kasey Kahne. Anyone that can take over the car of a ledgend like Awsome Bill, and do what he has done in his first year has a big future

Nascar drivers have half the skill other drivers do too, IMO.
Alright, seriously, if you make the same 2 turns 500 times in a row in the same day, you're gonna be pretty good by the end of the day through them too.
Every 30seconds you're doing the turn all over again.... I'd like to see those guys on a bike at the track.

Spoken like a person who has never had to make those turns 500 times. I may not like motorcycle racing but I sure respect the riders for doing what they do.

Jkvjl, yeah it was a pretty good weekend for Kahne with the win in the truck series and the 5th place finish on Sunday. I have to admit before the season started I was not a big fan of Kahne. Living in Georgia I have a lot of respect for Bill and what he had done in the #9 car and I was a little upset to see a rookie come in and take his place even though Bill was going to run a few races this year, but as of now I am on the Kahne band wagon.
Tonydetroit, 500 laps around a course with 32 or more drivers on the track doing speeds they do. I think that is more impressive than some guy pulling his bike up on one wheel for a second in an open parking lot. Moto racing is great, but street racing and all that crap like you have a picture of is, well crap. Nascar drivers pull the same burnouts, but of course it is after winning a 500mile race.

 and what gives with Golf? I just can't get into it either!
Liverock,
Check out a TT race or MotoGP, those are what real bike racing comes down to.

I am not trying to dog moto racing. I enjoy it almost as much as Nascar. My father rebuilds old bikes and we have about thirteen bikes at my house ranging from softtales and cruisers to my Dad's custom made Indian Larry bike he had made back in the early 90's. I'm just stating it takes a little more then a drivers license to compete in NASCAR
