I love the Koran angel with adult colors, especially against a black backed aquarium. Those blues seem to glow.
I'm glad to hear you are keeping butterflies, my favorites are the masked (Chaetodon semilarvatus)and teardrop butterfly (C. unimaculatus). Such beautiful creatures.

Angels are my all time favorite fish, we have several, in our 20gal F/O we have a Flame, in the 200 gal reef we have, 1 Emporator Angel(in the process of changing, something I have been waiting forever to see happen), 1 coral beauty, and 1 half black. Love them all, Lisa <img src="graemlins//angel.gif" border="0" alt="[angel]" />

They are very beautiful fish. I have heard that they are harder to take care of and butterflies as well. My LFS told me this. I would like to get one. What would anyone recommend? They have a awesome bicolor.

In a 65 gal tank you need to stay away from angelfish. In that most are 12-16 inches as adults, much to large for your tank.
However there is a solution, you can get dwarf angels, there are many available. They belong to the genus Centropyge and are a maximum of 5 inches as adults. An aquariust favorite is the flame angelfish, high demand usually a higher price compared to the others, but not much.

Popular hardy species

Flame angel
Lemon peel angel
Potters angel
Herald's angel
Cherub angel
Eibl's angel

Good luck..
Ps. You should stay away from the bi-colored they are cute. though they are known to be very short lived and slowly fade in many aquariums to my knowledge. As well as the coral beauty.

you had a blue line and a clarion? Wow! Great and rare fish! How much were they? I thought clarions werent for sale any more. For those fo you who like angels I made an angelfish board, I dont think this is illegal, all it is is a forum on angelfish. All it is is angelfish. It stinks now, because of no members and it doesnt look great now but it will look real better in a few days.
