I just got a call from the shipping company, my fireworks will be delivered today.
This is the largest order I have ever made. 980 pounds of fireworks.
Who else gets excited for the 4th.

I love them!! Watching them not shooting them off. That's one of those innocent pleasures that makes you feel like a kid again and it's ok to act all giddy!!

Allowed, We are not allowed to shot them off in Ohio either, it is not illegal to own them, only to light them.

Not legal for citizens - when I lived there I was amazed that you couldnt even buy sparklers in the stores - But all the Big cities have the professional displays at certain times of the year

My husband stayed up till the wee hours of the morning constructing a cannon from his book, "Backyard Ballistics." This 4th will be much louder than the last.

just bought my second cannon off eway. :D it's a tradition in my family to blow a bit of bark off a tree on the fourth.
cool site to see what your fireworks will actually look like:
tntfireworks.com/ncom/tnt/main/video.html?id=3133337945607&zip=YEAH!
take the YEAH! off of the link
some extras i like is saturn missles times a few thousand. take a box of whistling bottlerockets and unwrap them all. stick 'em in a huge bucket (wooden box works better) and throw a strobe or flare in it. 144,000 saturn missle fire. it will clear a pretty big area of people quickly.
little sparklers are loud too if you wrap a pack in electrical tape and light one. it expands until explosion, sound's like a quarter stick of dyn.

Don't know mola, gonna be tough in my book to do better than the dry ice bombs. Looking forward to it though!

Supposedly, this cannon will be much much louder, and it will launch potatos, but the book says not to do so because it might kill somebody. It's the perfect size for shooting jumbo marshmallows though. I'm certain there will be dry ice bombs as well. Start saving 2 and 3 liter bottles if you can. We've got almost a month to stock up on supplies :joy:

My user name says it all. I live just west of chicago and I'm a display pyrotechnician. There is nothing better in life then getting paid to pust 2,000 + lbs. of explosives into the sky. If there is anybody in the west sub's let me know. You can come out a check out the show from behind the lines not to mention we're always looking for quality help.
