How big is your yuma? I am trying to figure out if mine is normal size... or extra large as far as yumas go.

I seen one at my LFS that had SOME yellow in him but not quite as much. It's an interesting fish.. I am just a huge fan of fuzzy dwarfs regardless though!

ive got 2 yumas the front pink one is about 2" wide and the back neon orange/pink is about 1.5+" got a great deal on them at a local coral swap got the front pink one for $20 and the back one for $45 see them in the LFS for $100+

yeah its crazy that neon looking one in the back sells for $140 a shroom at one of my local LFS's here i had to grab it when i seen the price at the swap....
the next coral im getting for my new tank is a superman denae "montipora"
the LFS has one that is absolutely glowing in color the blue tissue with red polyps is crazy bright they are growing it out right now its about 4" across and they are guna frag off a 1" piece for $100 crazy price but a crazy coral

Yeah the green ones arent too expensive. Its when you find the fancy pink/rainbow ones and such.. you gotta be Bill Gates to afford one.

Mine seems to be spreding like wildfire, but for some reason the 'baby' ones dont grow fast.
The guy who originally sold this one I have to the LFS where I purchased it said that he has hundreds in his tank and that they multiply all the time for him.

depends on the spread rate.... i have some greenish common yumas and they split pretty often... my pink one is still fairly new so it hasnt split yet but i see at the base where its starting to pull away thats how yumas usually split shrooms seem to split down the middle while yumas leave little pieces behind as they move and that piece develops into a new one ... kinda slow process cuz they take a while to get bigger too

they are at different places its always good to get into a local club.... i just joined the club out here in ventura county and got some frags from different people for free some xenia and some nice green zoo's
the swap i went to was dave B's house out in encino they have it about once a year or twice a year sometimes 200-300 people show up and u can get some nice stuff for very very cheap or even free....
where are u located at??
once u get into clubs or knowing other reefers u dont need to really buy stuff anymore just frag and trade....

I'm way out in Barstow. I have a friend out here with a 29G. I gave him some frags for X-mas. I'm waiting for his torch to split. We sometimes go down to Global Aquatics down in Ontario. I've gotten some pretty good deals from them.

BTW - Nice shots Murph! Make sure you take lots of pics of new setup as you get it going! I am always looking for ways to make my plumbing better! It's a sickness we all share!
