Who names their fish?

I was just wondering how many people name their fish. My kids have named all of our fish...and of course, we have a Nemo.

My son does too...We have Marlin and nemo and our YT is Bubbles...But, i named our flamehawk,Bond...James Bond(007),
He's a trip to watch

My wife and I named a few of them, just our favorites. We have a Sergei, Peanut, Angie, Johnny Depp
and had a Nigel.

ya I named mine on Saturday night... Maverick, bubbles and scooter the shrimp... then scooter died... that tank has been running for 3 months and I didn't name them right away cuz I wanted to make sure they lived... then I name them and one dies, awesome luck i have

all of them have names..my kids names most my wife the rest...my wife named the porc puffer smilecowfish amed elsie.....yt named bubbles...

My friends and family and I name them. I even have one named by someone here on SWF.com!

My daughter has named all our fish but I can't for the life of me remember half of them.
Must be my age!

Ok, unfortunately I can't blame the kids, they're grown. But yes our fish have names:
Female perc=ziggy
male perc==junior
byno goby= albi
The others have met they're maker.

Female perc = Nemo because she was the first in the tank
Male perc = Squirt
Damsel = Yellow Top
Choc Chip Star = Choc. Chip...I know how original.
2 chromis= no names
Conch = no name
Shrimp = Shrimpie

Percula Clowns = Marlin & Coral (Nemo hasn't hatched yet)
Yellow Tang= Bubbles
Blue Tang = Miss Blue
6line = Deb
Cleaner Shrimp = Jacques and Jacquette
Lawnmower Blenny = Briggs
The rest I have not named... yet. Give me time and even the corals will have names

Not only do we name our fish, we name most of our inverts too. Our flame scallop was "eeni" (scallop eeni).

We don't consciously name them... but I guess we do in a way
There's......
"The male erectus"
"The Female Erectus"
"The Female Reidi"
"The Male Reidi".... etc etc
The barnacle blennies even have them...
"The First Blenny"
"The Big Blenny"
"The Blenny The Futhest To The Right"
"The Blenny In The Shell"... etc etc
