who should we NOT listen to?

so far i have figured out 2 names of people on here to not take any advice from.

I do not believe posting their names is such a great idea. it is really mean and I sure wouldn't want my name posted on here. You would soon enough learn on your own who is reliable and who is not. In time you will see.

so a new person comes on here and lets say they get one response for a problem that needs immediate attention. some goofball with 700 posts gives an answer that is way off track but you think its ok cuz of his # of posts. its a good warning for people to know whether you call them out or not.
they want the attention anyway so why not give it to them and help out the people who are serious on here

I can understand your desire for this, but luckily if someone gives you goofball advice you can still use your common sense and decide. I would assume if your new here and u need something done immediately that you would turn to your LFS, not some strangers opinion that u know nothing about.
I can think of a case in point awhile ago I was told that feather dusters were very aggressive yada yada...i inquired further with the person but I also knew full well that they are indeed not at all. as bad as the pun is, unless its a moderator I take advice with a grain of salt :thinking:
